Coronavirus (Covid-19) – Guest Information

Government Guidelines update as of Monday 14th September 2020:
We ask that all of our guests keep up to date with the latest government information to understand what this means for their personal circumstances.

We will assume that all guests arriving at Warwick Castle are compliant with government guidelines.

If you find that you need to move the date of your break due to not complying with the new Government Guidelines, please contact our Guest Experience Team for further help and information.

In line with the latest Government guidance, we are delighted to confirm that Warwick Castle and Knight’s Village is now open from the 4th July 2020. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

This follows the successful opening of the Warwick Castle Grounds & Gardens on 6th June, in line with the UK Government guidance on the reopening of open-air gardens.

The rest of the Castle is now open, including the Great Hall and State Rooms, The Towers & Ramparts and The Falconer’s Quest Bird of Prey show, although some facilities must remain closed for now.  We will reopen with significantly reduced numbers and a range of hygiene and safety measures to protect you and our employees. Find out more about these measures here.

Warwick Castle Knight’s Village and Tower Suites are also now open as per government advice around hotels.

We ask all guests planning to visit the Castle to please respect each other, our employees and our guidelines on maintaining good hygiene and a safe distance between households.

If you, or a family member, displays any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you postpone your visit, which we will happily rearrange for a later date.

For more information on what to expect please see our Frequently Asked Questions here.

Where do guests have to wear face masks?

Guests over the age of 11* will be required to wear a face mask in order to go within any indoor space including queues, giftshops, indoor attractions and hotel lobbies. This advice is in line with the latest UK Government regulations across England which will come in to place from the 8th August - https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus. We are monitoring this guidance closely and we encourage all our guests to help protect themselves and each other when visiting the Castle.

* Children under 11, people with certain health conditions and people with a disability are exempt.

In addition, visitors will see our guest-facing employees wearing Personal Protective Equipment including face masks and visors. Hygiene screens have been installed in front of many of our food stalls and shop counters, and we have installed social distancing markers throughout our attraction.
